…seeing a first baby lamb in the fields this morning
…experimentation. Trying to think of something to draw in my book tonight, I decided to see what colour would be made by squashing and smudging deep red rose petals. The result is surprisingly purple (the smudged colour in the background of this sketch). The light bright blue colour was accidentally made by adding some ‘Repair Extreme Power Glue’ with which I was going to attach some petals but didn’t.
…knowing that someone is going to dress a clothes shop window around one of my paintings next week at the Leyburn Pop-Up exhibition.
